Tower Seven Wines
Where Wine Meets The Sea
Meet you at Tower 7!
Tower Seven is named after lifeguard tower #7 at Zuma Beach, which sits just beyond the Ahmadian Family Vineyard where the Tower Seven grapes grow. If you grew up locally you may have heard it before - "Meet you at Tower 7!" For decades the lifeguard tower has served as a convenient meeting spot for beach-goers headed to Zuma Beach.
Little Burgundy of Malibu
Tower Seven is very excited to share its love of Burgundy-style wine.
Fans of Burgundy wine will fall in love with our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The crisp, clean taste of our Chardonnay, with hints of mineral and citrus, is achieved by aging the wine in steel (instead of oak barrels), a method popularized by the famous Chablis region of Burgundy.
Many Americans’ only experience with chardonnay comes from California wines; while California does produce exceptional chardonnays, the flavors and textures are vastly different from those produced in Burgundy, the regional origin of both grapes.
The oaked versions of the California-style chardonnays are most often characterized by heavier flavors such as toasty oak, caramel, and vanilla, compared to the crisp, mineral and light fruit flavors of the unoaked Burgundy chardonnays.
Our Pinot Noir embodies the fresh and delicate characteristics of the lighter-bodied Burgundy reds, while our Pinot Noir Reserve boasts a more earthy and structured mouthfeel reminiscent of the fuller-bodied Burgundy reds.
